March 13. Here are two of the birds on my bird count today! One is a Yellow-billed Hornbill and the other is a Superb Starling. Both of these are common birds and we see many of them every day. I also saw a very colorful White-Throated Bee-Eater and some BIG birds: several ostriches and a Kori Bustard. I hope your bird counts are going well!

About me

  • Hi! My name is Shayne Russell, and I'm the Library Media Specialist at Kenneth R. Olson Middle School in Tabernacle, NJ. Come along with me on an adventure to Kenya, Africa! We will be working as volunteer researchers, side-by-side with scientists who are studying the endangered Grevy's Zebra. Let's see what research looks like... outside of the library!
