Mission Accomplished!

The summer flew by and fall was really busy, so it's taken a while for me to get back to thinking about Africa. But I had some important news for you. Remember the school supplies Ms. Larsen's class collected (see April 3rd post)? And the beautiful scrapbook the 7th graders created (see April 19th)? Thanks to Ms. Barrett from Harrington School in Mount Laurel, both have been safely delivered to our friends at Nagor-Oworu Primary School in Kenya. School was not in session when Ms. Barrett was in Africa in August. She got the package as far as the Earthwatch headquarters in Wamba, where Dr. Paul presented them to Simon Bulari, the environmental and community fellow who works with the school I visited.
